The Role

(Based in Chicago)

We're looking for a driven Product Management Intern based in Chicago, to join us this summer. As a PM intern, you’ll be in the trenches with our product, engineering, and design teams, tackling complex enterprise challenges. From day one, you'll get hands-on experience driving continuous discovery, evaluating cutting-edge AI tools, and defining product requirements for next-generation agentic workflows. If you’re ready to dive deep into user research, shape product strategy, and build solutions that simplify compliance for modern businesses, we want you on our team.

How you’ll spend your time:

Objectives
  • Master the GRC Problem Space: Gain a deep understanding of the GRC landscape, with a specific focus on modern trends like Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) and Test Once, Satisfy Many.
  • Develop Foundational PM Skills: Build end-to-end product management muscle by participating in the full product lifecycle – from conducting user research and writing requirements to overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Adopt Modern Discovery Frameworks: Learn and apply industry-leading continuous discovery habits to effectively map customer pain points to business opportunities.
  • Build AI Product Expertise: Gain hands-on experience conceptualizing and testing AI features in an enterprise SaaS environment, specifically exploring how agentic workflows can solve complex compliance challenges.
Scope of Work
  • Competitive & Market Analysis: Conduct a comprehensive competitive analysis focusing on how other players in the GRC market are approaching compliance, CCM, and the integration of AI agents.
  • User Research & Opportunity Mapping: Interview users to understand their pain points around automated evidence collection and testing, and translate those findings into a formalized Opportunity/Solution Tree.
  • Product Requirements & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate research into actionable execution by writing detailed product requirements, partnering closely with engineering and product design to build and iterate on new agentic/AI capabilities.
  • Feature Testing & Launch Prep: Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for upcoming high-impact features, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a high-quality user experience and a seamless rollout.

Tooling & Workflow Exploration: Actively explore and evaluate modern AI tools to assess how they can accelerate product development, design, and internal PM workflows.

We get excited about you if you:

  • Are working towards a Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields with a planned graduation of Spring 2027.
  • Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA in good academic standing.
  • Are proficient in using Macs and Apple Products.
  • Embrace problem-solving with empathy, combined with knowledge of user experience best practices, technical feasibility, and business logic.
  • Are a strong communicator who thrives in open collaboration, especially when acting as the bridge between engineering, design, and business teams.
  • Are enthusiastic about untangling complex, messy problems (like enterprise compliance!) and turning them into simple, impactful solutions.
  • Have a love for learning, a deep curiosity about user behavior, and a strong interest in emerging AI technologies.
  • Have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help back up your product intuition with data.
  • Have an entrepreneurial attitude, a high tolerance for ambiguity, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Are organized and can manage multiple priorities and stakeholder requests simultaneously.
