Who We Are

We’re building OpenHands, an open-source AI platform that empowers engineering teams to accelerate development, automate workflows, and integrate intelligent coding assistance into real-world software delivery.

We are hiring a Product Manager, who will report to the Head of Product and work closely with customers, open source members, users, developer relations, and engineering.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the product development lifecycle for the Developer Experience roadmap, from ideation to launch

  • Analyze customer and user feedback to shape the direction of our interfaces, CLI, SDK, and developer integrations

  • Work closely with our open source community to understand user needs and pain points

  • Collaborate with engineering to define technical requirements and roadmap

  • Drive product strategy and prioritization based on user research and market analysis

  • Balance the needs of individual developers, enterprise customers, and our open source community

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Strong technical background with hands-on coding experience

  • Experience building developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure products

  • Track record of shipping successful products in collaboration with engineering teams

  • Experience with open source communities and developer ecosystems

  • Deep understanding of software development practices, tooling

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Data-driven decision making

  • Knowledge of LLMs and AI agents

  • Interest in AI/LLM-powered developer tools and open-source software
