As Product Manager, Fintech (entry to mid-level), you will report to the Product Management Director on the Technology Business Unit. You will be responsible for providing business analysis for Mobile Money/Fintech controls, supporting the design, validation, and delivery of LATRO’s Fintech and Revenue Assurance solutions. This is a hands-on, entry-to-mid level role focused on understanding business processes, translating them into product logic, and supporting implementation across global customer projects. The core duties will require close cross-team collaboration from close engagement with engineering team for product development, supporting operations team for project implementation, and working alongside external customers for Business Analysis and product training.    

 

Experience working with or for Mobile Money Providers (MNO), Fintech, and/or Banks is required. Experience within the telecom industry, Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management is preferred. Experience with AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Risk Scoring, Transaction Monitoring, SAR/STR is a plus.  

 

This is a remote position open to qualified candidates across the Middle East and Africa. We are particularly interested in candidates based in Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, and other markets within compatible time zones. Periodic international travel may be required.   

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Includes but not limited to the following: 

  • Requirements Support & Documentation – gathering and documenting business and functional requirements to translate business needs into clear and structured technical product requirements.  
  • Understanding Business Flows – Lead customer discussions, analyze customer business processes, break down complex flows into logical product controls/rules. 
  • Testing, Validation and Data Analysis – Validate system outputs and assist in identifying inconsistencies, issues, and logic gaps. Support internal product UAT and testing cycles.  
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing – Maintain clear and organized documentation for requirements, product features and product guides. Support internal knowledge sharing and product training materials.  
  • Maintain a close relationship with key stakeholders across various internal and external departments, solicit continuous product feedback, and extract use cases for new product opportunities.  
  • Understand the ins and outs of the products to effectively communicate relevant details to various stakeholders.  
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales to support product compliance for new opportunities and to identify
    areas for product enhancements based on market needs.
     
  • Transform business needs to technical requirements and identify priorities across multiple products with shared engineering support.  
  • Provide support
    for product documentation including Product Description, Roadmaps, Requirements (including GUI wireframes), Design Documents, and Marketing Materials. 
     
  • Stay updated with fintech and AML technology trends through participating in relevant forums and following major players in the market. 

  

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Mobile Money and/or Fintech (Financial Technology) industry is required 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to understand systems, products, workflows, and data relationships 
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Fluent French is a plus
  • Clear structured communicator able to explain complex ideas simply 
  • Confident presenter for both internal and external audiences 
  • Ability to ask the right questions, clarify requirements, and communicate effectively with both technical and business teams  
  • Strong ownership of assigned tasks  
  • Able to work independently while collaborating across teams 
  • Experience or familiarity with databases including MongoDB (preferred) and relational databases.  
  • Experience working with a globally disbursed team 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
