Company Overview

Join a dynamic team that's redefining consumer data analytics. Consumer Edge (“CE”) is a leading data and insights-as-a-service (IaaS) company specializing in the global consumer, B2B, and healthcare economies. CE delivers real-time, transaction-based intelligence enriched by deep industry expertise. Its solutions equip corporate and investment leaders with best-in-class tools for strategic decision-making, offering granular insights and benchmarking across products, brands, sub-industries, and industries. CE’s unique capabilities turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter, faster decisions.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for Store Location Analytics to lead the development of CE’s next-generation store-level and trade-area analytics products. This role is central to executing CE’s roadmap to make store location intelligence seamless, precise, and actionable across our platform.

The Product Manager, Store Location Analytics, will own the strategy, execution, and delivery of CE’s store-level analytics features. You will partner with engineering, data science, and commercial teams to deliver products that help clients analyze consumer behavior, performance, and competitive dynamics at the store level — from a single trade area to national footprints.

This includes building intuitive workflows for market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and white space analysis within CE’s Dash and AI interfaces.

This role is an opportunity to lead a flagship product area central to CE’s growth strategy, collaborating with a high-impact team across product, tech, and analytics. If the prospect of shaping the future of store-level location intelligence at the intersection of transaction data and geospatial analytics sounds like an exciting challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Your main responsibilities

  • Roadmap Leadership: Define and deliver the Store Location Analytics roadmap aligned to CE’s strategy.
  • Store-Level Use Cases: Build features that directly support top client use cases such as:
    • Measuring spend, customer counts, and share at the individual store level.
    • Competitive benchmarking across trade areas and overlapping store footprints.
    • Evaluating cannibalization and performance impacts of new store openings or closures.
    • Identifying white space opportunities for store expansion.
    • Comparing urban vs. suburban vs. rural store performance.
    • Understanding shopper cross-shopping between a retailer’s stores and competitors nearby.
  • Geospatial Analytics: Enable robust mapping of consumers to their most-frequented stores and rollups to CBSA, DMA, or region when needed.
  • Product Execution: Translate client needs into clear product requirements, prioritize roadmap items, and guide features from concept to launch.
  • AI & Dash Integration: Ensure store analytics are accessible through CE’s Dash interface and AI Copilot for natural language queries and visualizations.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the voice of the customer, engaging with retailers, CPGs, and investors to validate use cases and refine features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering and data science to deliver store-level accuracy, scalability, and performance.

We’re looking for someone with

  • 4–8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in store location analytics, retail intelligence, or GIS-based analytics.
  • Proven track record building tools for store performance, trade-area analysis, or market expansion/white space analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of store geocoding, trade-area definition, and competitor/store footprint analysis.
  • Experience with B2B data or SaaS analytics platforms; transaction data familiarity a plus.
  • Technical literacy — able to partner with engineers and data scientists on geospatial data structures, APIs, and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, data science, or related field preferred.

Why Join Consumer Edge

We offer a competitive salary, an extensive benefits package including 401(k) match, paid parental leave, flexible and generous time off, work from home flexibility and a vibrant work environment conducive to professional growth and innovation. Join our team and play a significant role in driving data-driven decision-making, shaping the future of global consumer insights.

Salary

The annual base salary for this role is between $150,000 – $200,000 based on experience, with the opportunity for a performance-based bonus, company equity, 401(k) matching, work-from-home flexibility, and subsidized health benefits.
