At Merchants Fleet, we’re transforming the way fleet services are designed, delivered, and optimized. We’re looking for a strategic, financially savvy Product Manager, Services to take ownership of one or more core service offerings—such as Maintenance, Accident Management, Fuel, Telematics, or Rentals—and drive measurable business impact.

This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of client experience, operations, engineering, data, vendor management, and financial performance. If you thrive on accountability, love turning insights into action, and know how to balance client needs with operational and economic realities, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Service Strategy & Roadmap
    • Lead the vision, strategy, and long-term evolution of assigned fleet services
    • Build and execute a roadmap aligned to company growth and profitability objectives
    • Own full-service performance, including financial outcomes and value creation
  • Drive Adoption & Economic Performance
    • Increase service adoption, utilization, and attach rates in partnership with Sales and Client Experience
    • Own KPIs, unit economics, margins, and forecasting
    • Develop business cases to support investment, pricing, or operational changes
  • Improve Operational Effectiveness
    • Identify service delivery gaps and lead scalable process and technology improvements
    • Leverage data, automation, and connected capabilities to optimize performance
    • Ensure services deliver measurable client impact while meeting cost and quality targets
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution
    • Act as the central point of coordination from concept through execution
    • Partner with Operations, Technology, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, and external vendors
    • Manage third-party providers, pricing structures, and SLAs
    • Drive change management and adoption across the organization

What You Bring

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product management, service management, operations, or consulting within the fleet industry
  • Proven ownership of business outcomes, including cost, margin, and full P&L accountability
  • Strong financial acumen—unit economics, forecasting, pricing strategy, and profitability management
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and performance metrics
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Data-driven mindset with a bias toward action
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced design certification preferred

Why Join Merchants Fleet?

  • High-impact role with visible ownership of revenue and profitability
  • Opportunity to shape scalable, market-leading fleet services
  • Collaborative, forward-thinking leadership
  • A company committed to long-term growth, innovation, and client success

Salary Range: $95,000 - 135,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)
