Role Summary: Own what TradeEngage builds, in what order, and how well it works. You'll work directly with the founders and our AI-native engineering team across web, mobile, and our Chrome extension. You'll set priorities, write the specs, run the sprint cadence, and review every launch against the numbers. Target: 5+ years of product management, high agency, strong business judgment, and hands-on experience building with AI.
About TradeEngage
- We're the only enterprise-grade referral platform for home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest control, and restoration). We've created a new way for companies to turn every job and every call into the next one through referrals
- Founding team: ex-VC/PE that covered home services software. Founding engineers from one of the largest B2B healthcare marketplaces, a Sequoia-backed unicorn
- Backed by former operators and executives from the largest home services companies in the world
- $650B market. We're building category-defining infrastructure for home service companies
- Enterprise customers are already signed and live
The Role
You'll lead product at a post-PMF company. Every week brings tradeoffs between new products, feature requests, enterprise and SMB needs, and fixes for what's live. You decide what gets built, in what order, and whether it worked.
The product is a multi-sided referral marketplace with payments, field service integrations, and incentive programs for technicians. Customer referrals sit at the center: every job and every call can become the next one.
What You'll Own
- AI PM agent: Build and run an agent that processes support tickets, call transcripts, Notion tickets, and product metrics to surface priorities
- Prioritization: Manage the tradeoffs and give the team a clear, defensible view of what matters most. Own a 2-3 month roadmap
- Strategic alignment: Bring structure and data to strategic conversations so leadership decides faster
- Specs and prototypes: Write specs that explain the why, and build AI-assisted prototypes and mockups so engineers can move without a follow-up meeting
- Launch and go-to-market: Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success on every rollout, including enterprise brands and franchise locations
- Project management: Own timelines for integration and partnership deployments, coordinating Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success
- Metrics: Define success criteria before anything ships, publish a scorecard after launch, and cut what the data shows nobody uses
- Customers: Spend time in the field with technicians, CSRs, and owners, and in the room with enterprise customers
What's in it for You
- Post-PMF with enterprise customers signed and revenue compounding, and early enough for meaningful equity and product ownership
- You work directly with the founders. They ramp you up, then hand you the keys
- Work remote from Florida, with the option to collaborate in person in Miami. Zero state income tax means your take-home goes further than it would almost anywhere else
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management. You've shipped at least one 0→1 product
- High agency. You bring structure to ambiguity, move without being told, and own outcomes end to end
- AI-first. You ask what's now possible before asking what's been done before, and you have hands-on experience building agents or AI-powered workflows
- Strong business judgment. You find the underlying need and prioritize on revenue and margin impact, not on the loudest voice
- Technical depth. You write PRDs, run SQL, and weigh in on architecture decisions with engineers
- Customer contact. You've spent time with the people who use what you build, in the field or on their calls
Strong Plus
- Based in Florida and willing to travel to customer sites and industry events
- Founder background or founder-like operating experience
- Experience at a high-growth B2B startup (Series A to C)
- Home services, field service, or franchise experience
- Marketplace, payments, or integration-heavy product experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $150,000-$250,000 base, plus bonus
- Equity: Total compensation for this role may also include an early-stage equity package
- Location: Remote, FL
- Benefits: Healthcare plan allocation, flexible PTO, tax advantages of no state income tax in Florida, and access to the office and company condo in Miami Beach that can be used for trips and visiting family and friends!
