About The Internship:

As our 2025 Competitive Intelligence Intern you will… 

As our 2025 Product Marketing – Competitive Intelligence Intern, you will leverage your research, analytical, and organizational skills to help shape Unite Us’ competitive intelligence function. You’ll gain hands-on experience in building processes and resources that directly influence our go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Your ability to collaborate across teams, track market trends, and create actionable insights will help us strengthen our competitive position. You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Product Marketing, gaining mentorship and exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering.

This internship is scheduled to run for 8-weeks:  June 9, 2025 - August 4, 2025


What You'll Do:

  • Conduct competitive analysis across Unite Us products and markets, identifying key differentiators, strengths, and gaps.
  • Build and maintain a repository and standard operating procedure (SOP) for competitive intelligence, ensuring consistency and accessibility across the organization.
  • Develop and refine battle cards to support Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering with real-time competitive insights.
  • Track and synthesize market trends, providing actionable recommendations to inform product positioning and GTM strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketers to establish a process for ongoing competitive intelligence reviews as part of the GTM process.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering, to gather insights and validate findings.


You're a great fit for this Internship if:

  • You have experience or interest in healthcare technology, product marketing, or competitive intelligence
  • You are able to work proactively and collaboratively
  • You have strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with good written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to synthesize information into usable materials.
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn software technologies such as Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, HubSpot, Asana, etc.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to build scalable processes.
  • You are comfortable working collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • You are eager to learn about product marketing and GTM strategies.
  • You are familiar with Confluence and competitive intelligence tools (bonus).

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position is remote, U.S. based
  • This internship is $20/hour for 35 hours per week
  •  This internship is scheduled to run for 8-weeks:  June 9, 2025 - August 4, 2025
