ShipMonk isn't just a 3PL — we're the tech-powered growth partner for ecommerce brands, running 12+ owned fulfillment centers across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe so our merchants can stress less and grow more.

Product Marketing Manager

At ShipMonk, we're not just another 3PL. We're a technology-driven company revolutionizing ecommerce fulfillment, with 2,300+ team members across four countries. We're looking for an ambitious Product Marketing Manager to drive our product-led growth.

Our Core Values: Merchant-first. People Make ShipMonk. Own It. Get Sh*t Done. Change the Score.

About the Role

This is a highly visible, individual-contributor role serving as the bridge between our Product, Sales, Customer Experience/Merchant Success, and Marketing teams. You'll own how ShipMonk's product capabilities – from new platform features to vertical-specific programs – get positioned, launched, and adopted in the market. You'll translate what we build into why it matters to merchants, arm our sales team to sell it, and partner closely with our content, creative, and demand generation teams to bring it to life. This is a senior, hands-on seat for someone who wants to own product marketing strategy and execution at a fast-scaling company.

Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Own GTM strategy and launch plans for new product capabilities and feature releases, partnering with Product to translate roadmap into a merchant-facing narrative.
  • Messaging & Positioning: Craft differentiated, defensible positioning and messaging for products and verticals, in partnership with Brand to ensure consistency across channels.
  • Competitive & Market Intelligence: Own ongoing competitive analysis, win/loss insight-gathering, and customer research to inform positioning, sales strategy, and roadmap conversations.
  • Sales Enablement Content: Build the sales collateral, battlecards, and playbooks the sales team needs to sell new capabilities effectively, partnering with Sales leadership on delivery and training cadence.
  • Launch Execution: Coordinate cross-functional launch execution across Product, Sales, CX, and Marketing for major releases — briefing and directing the content, creative, and demand gen teams who produce and distribute launch assets, rather than producing every asset personally.
  • Product Adoption: Develop the positioning and messaging strategy that drives adoption of existing product capabilities among current customers, partnering with demand gen/lifecycle marketing on execution.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on product marketing outcomes — launch velocity, sales enablement adoption, competitive win rates — and connect them to pipeline and revenue impact.

Experience

  • Product Marketing Expertise: 7+ years of proven experience in B2B product marketing, preferably within technology/SaaS, logistics, retail, or e-commerce. 3PL experience is a strong plus.
  • GTM Strategy: A track record of collaborating on GTM strategy across functions, including Product, Marketing and Customer Experience, and delivering successful end-to-end product launches.
  • Messaging & Storytelling: Exceptional written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical product capabilities into clear, compelling merchant value.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Comfortable partnering with Product, Sales, and Content/Creative teams and driving outcomes through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Sales Enablement Experience: Experience building sales collateral, playbooks, and training materials, and partnering with sales leadership on rollout.
  • Strategic & Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical background with the ability to translate market research and performance data into positioning decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Product Development & Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience partnering directly with Product teams.
  • Market Research: Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with B2B companies, ideally with exposure to ecommerce, SaaS, logistics, or fulfillment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a continuous cadence of product launches and shifting priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Own it: We take ownership of our work, our mistakes, and our successes.
  • Get sh*t done: We're a fast-paced, high-growth company that values action and results.
  • Change the score: We challenge the status quo, constantly innovating and improving.
