Summary of the Role

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for generating and managing product content across all Calamos products that positions them in the market. Reporting to the Product and Marketing Team, this role requires product aptitude and investment knowledge to create materials that clearly communicate product features, benefits and competitive advantages. The focus is on logistics, process management and cross-functional collaboration to execute go-to-market plans. This individual coordinates content development across departments and ensures all product materials are accurate, compliant and effectively support distribution efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Content Development and Management

  • Create and manage product content across all Calamos funds in multiple formats, including presentations, sales tools and marketing collateral.
  • Develop innovative and compelling content for thematic campaigns with focus on alternatives, private markets and ETFs.
  • Coordinate content creation workflow across Product Management, Channel Marketing, Investment Team, and Distribution to gather inputs, establish timelines and deliver materials that meet stakeholder needs.
  • Design compelling narratives and visually engaging content that enhances the presentation and framing of all product materials.
  • Build and maintain libraries of custom materials for priority products.
  • Work with Marketing Services to help ensure quality control for all product marketing materials, ensuring content accuracy, regulatory compliance and adherence to brand standards across all collateral.

Product Launch and Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Execute product launch logistics by coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver launch materials on schedule. Partner with Product Management on product specifications and with Channel Marketing and Distribution on launch support and rollout timing.
  • Support Channel Marketing campaign execution by providing product content and materials aligned with campaign objectives while ensuring consistent product messaging across all marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain proactive communication with Distribution partners to understand content needs, gather feedback and deliver materials and positioning guidance that support field sales efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience in the asset management industry with strong product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with investment products, strategies, and capital markets concepts. Ability to translate complex product features into clear, compelling content for advisors and clients.
  • Broad industry knowledge with understanding of institutional and retail distribution channels, client needs, and competitive product landscape.
  • Proficiency with marketing technology platforms, including large language model (LLM) tools (e.g., Claude), sales enablement systems (e.g., Seismic) and other digital marketing solutions.
  • Strong project management and process orientation. Ability to manage multiple content workstreams simultaneously, coordinate across teams, and deliver materials on deadline.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with ability to create clear, accurate, and persuasive product content. Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across Product, Investment, Marketing, and Distribution functions to achieve shared objectives.
Compensation Disclosure

The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Please note that this is the current estimate of the base salary range intended for this role at the time of posting. The base salary range may be adjusted in the future.
