About your role: 

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help our rapidly growing, award-winning organization bring world-class product marketing to our giving communities, making it easier for them to understand how Givelify’s products can help them achieve their goals and do more good. 

In this role, you will shape Givelify’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for products and customer segments. You will use customer and market research, competitive intelligence, industry best practices, and company data to translate donor and Giving Partner needs into product narratives, launch strategies, and marketing and enablement materials. 

You will also collaborate with multiple cross-functionable teams from Product to Customer to drive strong launches, adoptions, and growth. Success will be measured through KPIs, including product usage, NPS, and percentage of consistent givers.

Your team: 

You will join the Product Marketing Team, reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager. The team drives product awareness and usage by helping donors and Giving Partners clearly understand how Givelify products help them achieve their goals better than any alternative — through insight-driven positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and marketing and sales channel activation. 

You will be surrounded by brilliant, passionate people committed to success. Within Marketing, you’ll collaborate closely with Brand, Channel, and Content. Your key cross-functional partners will include Product, Creative, Customer Success & Experiences, Data Science & Insights, and Strategic Partnerships. 

The product marketer, you will get to: 

Lead and complete key product marketing milestones that impact nearly 2 million generous donors and more than 75,000 nonprofits and places of worship. 

  • Research & Customer Insights: Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to understand donor and Giving Partner needs, market trends, competitive alternatives, and opportunities for Givelify to better serve them. 
  • Positioning & Messaging: Translate insights into strong positioning and simple, compelling product messaging that communicates Givelify’s value to target audiences. Lead audience validation to improve resonance and effectiveness. 
  • Launch Strategy: Build launch campaigns and channel plans based on target audience insights, market learnings, company goals, and past performance. 
  • Launch Asset Development & Enablement: Create, maintain, and update core product marketing assets, including positioning and messaging strategies, audience insights, competitive snapshots, launch initiative strategies, and enablement materials. 
  • Optimization: Track launch results and optimize plans using qualitative and quantitative data, including but not limited to audience voice, product awareness and adoption. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identifyfuture growth opportunities. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll also: 

  • Customer Understanding: Build a strong understanding of donors, Giving Partners, nonprofits, places of worship, and the teams who support them. 
  • Strategy and Business Case: Turn customer, market, competitive, and company data into clear recommendations that improve messaging, launch strategy, adoption, and growth. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success & Experiences, Strategic Partnerships, and Data Science & Insights to refine strategies and execute successful launches. 
  • Project Management: Manage launch workstreams, timelines, dependencies, approvals, and stakeholder communication to keep initiatives moving forward. 
  • Documentation: Ensure every initiative’s plan, results, and learnings are clearly communicated, documented, and discoverable for future use. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Use performance data, audience feedback, and launch learnings to improve future campaigns, customer communications, and enablement materials. 

Your experience: 

  • 3+ years of relevant, demonstrable experience in product marketing. 5+ years of total experience in marketing and/or strategy 
  • MBA or MS in marketing or business 
  • Experience working in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Consumer Technology and/or 2-sided Marketplace 
  • Strong experience in product marketing fundamentals, including but not limited to consumer insights and market research, product positioning & messaging development, and GTM strategy building & execution 
  • Certification(s) in product or customer marketing a plus 
  • Experience in hypothesis-based test-and-learn growth approach a plus 
  • Experience in lifecycle marketing a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders 
  • Preference for working in an agile environment with a “get it done” mentality 
  • Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
