About Hatch

Hatch builds AI Customer Service Representatives that handle business communications across SMS, email, and voice—24/7. We've helped drive over $5B in revenue for home services, healthcare, and other service-based businesses by ensuring every lead is reached and every call is answered.

The Role

We're looking for a Product Operations Manager to be the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and the rest of the company. Your mission: help the product team ship faster, communicate clearer, and make better decisions. You'll own the systems, processes, and tools that turn product development into a well-orchestrated machine—from release coordination to analytics infrastructure to AI-powered workflows.

What You'll Own

Release & Launch Management

  • Own the end-to-end release process: coordination, communication, and rollout tracking

  • Manage feature flagging workflows and ensure clean, predictable deployments

  • Create visibility into what's shipping, when, and to whom—internally and externally

Product Analytics & Instrumentation

  • Own and improve our analytics infrastructure to surface actionable usage data

  • Partner with PMs to define metrics, instrument features, and track adoption

  • Build dashboards and reporting that drive prioritization and measure impact

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain internal product documentation so teams always have current, accurate information

  • Coordinate updates to external help centers and release notes

  • Explore automation opportunities to reduce manual documentation overhead

Process & Tooling

  • Standardize and streamline product team workflows

  • Manage the product tech stack—evaluate, implement, and drive adoption of tools

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve team efficiency

AI Enablement & Automation

  • Build and maintain AI-powered workflows that accelerate product team productivity

  • Develop custom skills, prompts, and tooling (e.g., Claude Code, internal AI assistants) to automate repetitive tasks

  • Champion AI adoption across Product and identify high-impact use cases for automation

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in Product Operations, Program Management, or a similar role at a B2B SaaS company

  • Experience managing release processes, feature flags, or deployment coordination

  • Strong analytics skills—comfortable with tools like PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar

  • Proven ability to build and improve processes from scratch

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills; you make complex things clear

  • Bias toward automation; you'd rather build a system than do something manually twice

  • Enthusiasm for AI tools and a willingness to experiment with new ways of working

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) or building custom AI workflows

  • Experience with LaunchDarkly or similar feature management platforms

  • Familiarity with Notion, Confluence, or similar knowledge management tools

  • Background in AI/ML products or fast-moving product environments

Why Join

  • High-impact role—you'll directly influence how fast and effectively we ship

  • Build the Product Ops function with significant ownership and autonomy

  • Work alongside a product team that values operational excellence

Closing

  • There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience.

  • Based on the anticipated level of experience we are seeking, we expect the compensation range for this role to be between $104,000 and $269,000. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.

  • We will consider for employment qualified candidates with arrest and conviction records, consistent with applicable law (including, for example, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance for roles based in San Francisco, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for roles based in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County, and the California Fair Chance Act for roles based in California).

  • Where required by law, a criminal background check will not be conducted until after a conditional offer of employment is made, and any evaluation of a candidate's criminal background check will be subject to an individualized assessment that takes into account the candidate's specific criminal records and the responsibilities and requirements of the particular role.
