Product Specialist – Integration Team

ShareASale, an innovative and forward thinking internet marketing company located in the exciting River North neighborhood in downtown Chicago, is seeking an energetic Product Specialist to support existing clients and exceed their expectations.

The Product Specialist is responsible for handling incoming client inquiries and providing excellent customer support. The ideal candidate will be very personable and capable of using either a persuasive style or a tone of direct command in his/her communications. He/She will be confident, independent, and need to see results. In addition to the qualities above which will generate the power behind his/her work, will be a self-motivated and candid professional, who boldly attempts to make a success of new and unique projects by creating inventive methods to carry them out. He/She will be an analytical and versatile thinker, who shows strength in recognizing and solving problems.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as first responder and gatekeeper on all incoming client inquiries.
• Identify clients’ needs and connect with appropriate department.
• Help troubleshoot technical and strategic client issues.
• Support technical integrations: testing and tracking installations on known shopping carts.

Requirements/Qualifications/Proficiencies

• Friendly personality with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Standard internet and social media applications
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• A desire to work out logical problems.
• Willingness and ability to learn technical tasks including but not limited to: product datafeeds, introductory knowledge of scripting languages (such as php), and web analytics platforms.
• Bachelor's degree - A web technical field or marketing field a plus
• Strong working knowledge of HTML a plus
• Experience in project management or technical support role a plus
• Knowledge of e-commerce/shopping carts a plus
• Excel familiarity and comfort with using math/equations in real world scenarios a plus.
