Associate / Product Manager
Envoy Global is on a mission to disrupt the global immigration process! Our patented online platform integrates the best of people and technology to streamline, simplify and expedite the immigration process for employers and individuals. We now have an opening for an experienced and results-focused Associate/Product Manager to join our Product & Tech business division.
The Associate/Product Manager is responsible for designing innovative solutions to customer problems, at scale. This person will have experience working with complex workflows, have an insatiable appetite for understanding our customers, and relentlessly seek to build simple, delightful solutions that meet their global mobility needs. This position will be responsible for helping define – in detail – the product and validate that product with our customers and users.
As our successful candidate, you will be required to:
- Lead rich discovery processes, including market opportunities, user/customer research and prototyping to identify, evaluate, and define products and features that are valuable, usable, and feasible
- Help develop Envoy’s overall product and service offering by performing the initial product analysis to assess the need for any requested changes, as well as their potential impact
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other users to deeply understand the problems they face, help advance the needs of your projects, and have support and allies to turn to when issues arise
- Ensure that our product goals are driven by data that supports real customer and business needs and innovation
- Own product performance by setting proper product OKRs and tracking them to improve product outcomes and inform the future product roadmap
- Keep abreast of privacy, regulatory, and/or compliance trends within the competitive landscape in order to effectively plan for changes to our core product suite
- Coordinate and collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to deliver high-impact outcomes in an agile environment with well-defined sprints, incremental delivery, and forward-looking roadmaps
- Become involved in operational tasks i.e., write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test the services yourself as they are being built
- Serve as a product owner on your scrum team and deliver quality products on time with well-defined sprints, incremental delivery, and forward-looking roadmaps
- Manage product backlog and sprint priority including driving the backlog grooming, creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria
- Drive and follow the adoption of your products; work with the product training team to socialize, communicate, and train users on new features to meet our adoption goals
- Deliver value through successful management and execution of the product roadmap
- Ensure the team is consistently focused on the highest-impact priorities and making the right cost/benefit tradeoffs
- Work closely with cross-functional team (engineering, design, data science, and customer teams) to define and build specs that meet company goals and make progress toward our product vision
In order to be considered for this role, you should possess the following:
- 2+ years product management experience leading fast-paced agile teams, with the ability to proactively and independently own product feature development
- Collaborative approach: You should be equally comfortable talking tech with developers, user experience with designers, copy and positioning with product marketers, process and workflows with subject matter experts, and strategy with executive leadership
- Sound product experience: You will be comfortable gathering and writing business requirements, then translating those requirements into wireframes, workflows, and user stories
- Strong customer focus: You shall never lose sight of the ultimate end user experiences that your products support and strive to build products that provide delightful solutions to real, meaningful problems; solid understanding of customer-centric product analysis
- Excellent communication skills: You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work through ambiguity: You will thrive when bringing structure to uncertainty; and be excited about finding solutions to complex problems
- Demonstrated domain knowledge: Your immigration/paralegal experience is highly desirable
