After a record growth year in 2014, we are hiring! We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Product Team. You will own a well defined part of our all-in-one hiring software that over 2000 companies rely on every day. You'll have a dedicated team of software engineers, a UX team, and all of the resources you need to build amazing software. Hireology Product Managers define the product, test assumptions, refine, and release. In short, you will create a key part of Hireology's product.
About the Role:
Hireology is seeking a product leader to build and maintain products that drive key operational efficiency metrics for internal users from across the company in Sales, Customer Success and Operations. Specifically, we are looking for a product manager to own customer-facing assessment partner integrations, customer billing experience, and related internal service and sales systems. The Product Manager of Internal Tools will work with multiple business stakeholders to prioritize building and maintaining systems that are essential to Hireology's continued success and to support scalable growth. This person will determine the product roadmap, and work with key stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Product, external partners, and our agile software development teams to take these critical areas to the next level.
Responsibilities
• Our product managers are leaders. You’ll work with executive leadership to align the company around your product strategy, roadmap and milestones. You’ll oversee major cross-functional efforts that pull together team members from such departments as sales, customer success, finance, operations, and more.
• As the leader, you’ll integrate plans into and drive execution to a comprehensive release plan.
• You’ll prioritize and allocate resources against an array of simultaneously running projects, and bring major new features all the way from conception to market and into ongoing maintenance.
• We believe that collaboration is the key to great product development, which means you will work closely with our engineering and UX teams to keep our fast-paced, iterative agile software development operation humming and producing lots of valuable, quality software.
• You’ll join a dynamic team of product managers and interact with them in developing product management best practices and coordinating efforts.
Qualifications
• Exhibits and demonstrated strong business judgment.
• Proven success in defining, building, and releasing software-based offerings that drive customer or end-user ROI.
• Experience working directly with Software Engineering teams in an agile software development environment.
• Experience with managing the integration of third party applications.
• Strong project management and execution skills.
• Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience in and comfort with collaborating with user experience teams.
• Experience in and comfort with customer research.
• Ability to effectively gather requirements, digging beyond requests to get to needs.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong consensus- and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across an organization.
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts and solve complex problems.
• Strong technical background
• Experience with evaluating, managing or integrating CRM or billing systems
• Three or more years’ experience in software product management roles
