Lead the research, ideation, and creation of SpotHero software products and support the vision and
strategy behind it. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on product vision and communicate why and how
decisions are made. Translate that vision into technical requirements. Build and iterate upon existing
products. Own the research, ideation, and creation of the vision, roadmap, and backlog for a particular
product squad’s product(s). Improve key KPIs and launch new products as applicable. Partner with
product design, engineering, and internal stakeholders to deliver the best product for our users, partners,
and internal teams. Champion and lead growth optimizations that will maximize product performance.
Glean insights about our users from qualitative and quantitative research. Formulate and test hypotheses
based on user research and behavioral analytics. Define and analyze qualitative and quantitative data that
drives the success of our products. Plan and lead all agile ceremonies for particular product squad.
Building a high-quality product with a team of engineers, shipping software regularly. Ensure deadlines
are met. Lead product launches across product squad with both internal and external partners. Train and
mentor associate product managers. Secure and safeguard data to preserve its integrity, reliability, and
availability and ensure appropriate access levels are maintained. 5-10% domestic travel to conferences or
customer meetings, as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related field such as Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. In addition to the degree, at least two (2) years of post-degree experience in all of the following:

1. 1Working in an Agile start-up environment;
2. Leading Product Management, Engineering Strategy, or Technical Strategy;
3. Executing technical team product deliverables;
4. Writing Jira tickets, influencing roadmaps and research, and running a product from concept to iteration;
5. ommunicating and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product design, and fellow product managers; and
6. Evolving product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.

• Applicants must also have at least one (1) year of experience designing and developing software products with human centered design process.
