Outcomes

• Take lead of 1 or 2 Agile teams as the Product Owner
• Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and creation of requirements
• Write clear, business-driven product requirements with robust descriptions and acceptance and testing criteria
• Ensure that the teams always have a healthy amount of work that meets Definition of Ready
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development, sprint planning and releases
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product vision
• Lead the product release plans and work with internal and external stakeholders to set expectations for delivery of new features
• Work closely with UX, architects, and platform teams to fine-tune implementation and on-time delivery
• Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of product goals
• Follow DAIS Agile best practices 

Competencies

• Previous working experience as a software product owner for at least 3 years
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Experience with both scrum and kanban methodologies
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Insurance industry is recommended
