The Opportunity:
Vivid Seats is searching for a Product Quality Associate on our B2C product team. In this role, you will use your knowledge of our technology and our business to ensure our consumer products reach the highest levels of quality and provide intuitive and bug-free experiences for our customers. You will partner cross functionally across the business to design, implement, and execute manual test cases across our consumer products and touchpoints (including web, native applications, and marketing channels).
This role is ideal for applicants who are looking to gain experience in Product and Technology field. Consider this role as an apprenticeship within the software development space where you'll have exposure to multiple aspects of product development.

The right candidate will possess a strong set of analytical, product and technical skills. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly assess situations and make recommendations for key decisions. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity. Most importantly, you can deliver outstanding results, quickly, with high quality and have exceptional communication skills (able to speak the language of end-users, management, design, and development).
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
- Collaborate with stakeholders from across the business to design, implement, and execute manual test plans across all consumer touch points.
- Ensure that our products meet product requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate bugs, usability issues, or workflow improvements into product requirements; working with the product, engineering, UX, and business analysis teams to provide recommendations and requirements that align with business goals and opportunities.
- Assist the team in prioritizing product features and collaborate in design, estimations, and planning sessions with the overall team.
- Define features and bugs through clearly written user stories as part of an Agile delivery team; verify stories are implemented as intended, record bugs, and assist the engineering team in driving resolution.
How your role expectations will progress as a Product Quality Associate in the first 30, 90, and 180 days:
30 days in
- Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful.
- Acclimate to Vivid Seats' values and organizational goals to understand how your department drives initiatives forward.
- Learn how ticket marketplaces and our B2C products operate and how you'll contribute to providing great experiences for our customers.
- Develop and understanding of product functionality and technical capabilities.
90 days in
- Create and execute a suite of manual test cases that span our consumer products and marketing products and communication channels.
- Based on testing, provide feedback on issues, bugs, and recommendations for product enhancements; collaborate with scrum teams in prioritizing clearly written user stories to create delightful and bug free experiences for our customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of our products and technology by contributing to team planning and prioritization.
180 days in
- Design and implement process improvements that positively impact the team.
- Build, maintain, and leverage internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives.
- Assist with root cause analysis for production incidents, identify trends and weak points, suggest corrective actions, and help coordinate remediation.
- Refine our testing methodologies and approaches to improve testing coverage and throughput.
