JOB DESCRIPTION
In your role as an Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the execution and monitoring of new and existing servicing strategies by conducting actionable data analysis and creating insightful, regular reporting for senior management. You will also help monitor existing and new product KPIs and work closely with Engineering, Finance, Product, Legal and other teams across the company. - Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain and automate weekly/monthly reporting on core servicing and platform KPI’s
- Build and manage end-to-end servicing dashboards
- Assist in the preparation of documentation required to meet any reporting requirements
- Analyze strategies and identify servicing opportunities for improvement
- Find and remediate data quality issues across internal and external data sources
- Serve as the lead point of contact for servicing related internal inquiries and escalations
- Strategy Implementation:
- Document key servicing policies/procedures
- Implement scalable new product features to drive efficiencies across various channels
- Effectively communicate analysis and improvement initiatives for internal partners
- Identify opportunities for automation and system improvements
- Improve internal and external processes
Why you are a fit for Avant
- BA/BS in Math, Economics, or equivalent work
- 2+ Years of Experience with management consulting, credit card industry experience, and/or analytics required
- Experience with driving new projects, balancing business needs vs technical constraints, and coordinating across cross-functional teams
- Ability to improve performance by analyzing and managing key performance indicators, developing a strategy based on observations and implementing the strategy
- Ability to handle and execute on complex projects in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision and successfully meet established deadlines
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and SQL preferred
- Knowledge of Python or the desire to learn
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-confidence, good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions
- An inquisitive mindset and an openness to do things differently and more efficiently
