This role can be worked remotely from any of the following states: DE, PA, CA, IL, FL, IN, NJ, NY, TX, UT, VA, WA, MD, NC. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Product Manager in our Marketplace Services (MaaS) business, you’ll be the key to transforming complex integrations into seamless experiences for brands, so they can focus on what they do best - delight shoppers with magical shopping experiences. You’ll own the product strategy for Omni-Channel and work with key stakeholders in Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Business Development and Operations to create products that help our brands and retailers win in a complex marketplace environment. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for integrations and performance on high volume, data-driven retailers that have both  physical stores and an online presence. You’ll oversee products that drive discoverability and marketability and be the expert on how to create a seamless shopper experience across multiple modalities. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Define the product and go-to-market strategies and create the roadmap to scale our platform and drive performance for brands on our Omni-Channel retailers.
  • Become the expert on omni-channel retailers and help solve pressing business needs of demand and supply.  
  • Prioritize and plan initiatives based on research, customer feedback and input from market-facing teams, taking calculated risks and balancing trade-offs along the way.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA and Analytics to define, build, test, launch and measure omni-channel integrations and products. 
  • Work with Design to learn about customer pain points and improve the retail shopping experience behind the scenes. 
  • Engage with Data Science to build models that enrich and transform raw data into content that improve discoverability, increase purchase intent and drive productivity. 
  • Scope technological and operational requirements with retailers that have established marketplace practices or design one for those that don’t.  
  • Create processes that drive product adoption with counterparts in Onboarding, Customer Success and Marketplace Partnerships.

You’ll report to the Senior Director of Product - Marketplaces, and work together to establish the overall vision for our Marketplace business.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Product Experience. 3+ years of product management experience, successfully building, launching and growing SaaS products; 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably within the Retail or Marketplace Technology space. 
  • Customer Advocate.  You are obsessed with understanding our customers, and their customers, ultimately improving experiences for both parties.
  • Strong Communicator. You communicate clearly and persuasively in multiple mediums with peers, engineers, designers, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Management Experience. Experience growing and leading product teams and mentoring junior PMs.  
  • Outcome Focused: You are skilled at defining, monitoring, and optimizing KPIs to measure the business impact of your products.
  • Cross-functional Player. You are comfortable working with diverse stakeholders to align on goals, set expectations, report progress, and resolve conflicts. You are excited to collaborate with various teams - from Sales to Operations to Data Science. 
  • Bias for Action. You know how to make things happen and plan for times when things don’t go smoothly.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity & Change. You are excited about working in a startup environment and unfazed by the ambiguity and dynamic culture that come with it. You’re not afraid to think big and build light - optimizing for speed-to-market and learnings.
