ABOUT THE ROLE 

As VP of Product, Consumer Experience, you’ll develop a clear and compelling vision for the ShopRunner customer experience informed by deep knowledge of the customer, market, and current offering. You’ll lead the transformation of the customer experience with the goals of growing and strengthening the membership program and establishing ShopRunner as a true consumer shopping destination. You’ll evangelize the mission across the organization and galvanize the team to bring it to life. Your work will inform and be informed by the broader corporate strategy. You’ll lead the establishment of product objectives and be accountable for key results.

You’ll serve as a critical member of the Product and Business leadership team. You’ll be responsible for building cross-functional alignment and buy-in for the Consumer Experience vision and strategy. You’ll ensure the consumer experience is top of mind key strategic decisions across the organization. 

You’ll design and build the ShopRunner Consumer Product organization.  You’ll manage, coach, and develop a high performing team of Consumer focused Product Managers. You’ll help create and drive forward the ShopRunner Product practice and culture. 

You’ll create the ShopRunner CX Product roadmap and prioritize for experience and impact. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Analytics to deliver high priority features and user experiences. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design and Analytics leadership to execute against the roadmap. You’ll gather and synthesize consumer feedback and data to iterate on the strategy and roadmap. Ultimately, you’ll help make shopping magical for everyone.

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

  • Lead the CX Product organization 
  • Create the end-to-end consumer experience Product vision 
  • Define, execute, and evangelize the CX product strategy 
  • Define and drive OKRs 
  • Design and build the CX Product organization
  • Develop the next generation of ShopRunner Consumer Product leaders 
  • Lead CX Product performance management 
  • Serve as the consumer advocate across the organization
  • Cultivate the ShopRunner product culture
  • Define and refine the ShopRunner product process and approach  
  • Collaborate and drive strategic alignment with key cross-functional counterparts 
  • Represent the CX Product organization to the executive team and key internal stakeholders

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Product Leader Experience. 10 years of consumer product management experience with 5+ years of senior leadership experience. 
  • Strategic Thinker. You are a strong critical thinker. You ask tough and thoughtful questions. You see around corners. You prioritize for long term impact. 
  • Management Experience. Experience growing and leading senior product teams. 
  • Customer Champion.  You are obsessed with understanding the customer, and ultimately building and transforming a product that delivers customer value. 
  • Industry Experience. You have experience with consumer marketplace and/or membership products. Bonus for retailer or ecommerce experience. 
  • Delivery Track Record You have a track record of expeditiously building transformative high impact consumer experience. 
  • Strong Communicator. You communicate clearly and persuasively in multiple mediums with executives, stakeholders, peers, engineers, designers, and customers.  
  • Outcome Focused: You have a track record of defining, monitoring, and optimize consumer experience and business KPIs 
  • Business Savvy. You are hyper-focused on delivering and quantifying business long term impact. You are highly comfortable with sophisticated business frameworks and concepts. You are able to quickly understand market drivers, the competitive landscape, and strategic positioning. 
  • Cross-Functional Player. You have worked with diverse and senior stakeholders to set expectations, report progress, and drive to outcomes. 
  • Bias for Action. You know how to make things happen.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity & Change. You are excited about working in a startup environment and unfazed by the ambiguity and dynamic culture that come with it. You are excited about creating a vision and building the future of retail.
