Role Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Excellence - FPD, the Commercial Excellence Program Manager facilitates the implementation of Flowserve’s Commercial Excellence strategy by orchestrating the execution, coordination, and scale-up of related initiatives across multiple regions, functions, and workstreams. This role coordinates priorities, timelines, dependencies, and resources to support the delivery and adoption of Commercial Excellence capabilities like training, analytics, tools, and processes. As Commercial Excellence grows globally, the role provides structure and governance to ensure consistent execution and maximize impact.

  • Execute and scale Commercial Excellence initiatives with consistency, discipline, and measurable impact.
  • Ensure global readiness and adoption of Commercial Excellence training, tools, and processes.
  • Provide governance, operating cadence, and visibility to ensure Commercial Excellence initiatives stay aligned, on track, and adoption-ready.
  • Support prioritization and sequencing of initiatives to align capacity, timing, and business impact.

Responsibilities:

Program Execution & Governance

  • Develop and maintain integrated Commercial Excellence workplans across training, analytics, enablement, and supporting initiatives.
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and progress across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Establish and maintain operating cadence, including status reviews, governance routines, and leadership updates.
  • Support Commercial Excellence leadership in prioritizing initiatives and sequencing workstreams.
  • Proactively surface execution risks and escalation needs and partner with leadership to resolve issues quickly.

Training Rollout & Readiness

  • Own execution and readiness of Commercial Excellence training programs globally.
  • Coordinate rollout schedules, sequencing, and logistics across regions.
  • Ensure Managers of Sales and Directors are prepared to reinforce and sustain training outcomes.
  • Track readiness, certification, and fieldwork completion to support adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate across Sales, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, IT, Pricing, Marketing, and Operations teams to align stakeholders around priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Manage interdependencies to ensure tools, analytics, and enablement materials are aligned prior to deployment.

Adoption & Execution Enablement

  • Identify execution challenges and adoption barriers across regions
  • Ensure Commercial Excellence tools, analytics, and training materials are release-ready and adoption-ready.
  • Reinforce consistent application of Commercial Excellence processes, tools, and behaviors.

Ways of Working & Delivery Support

  • Partner with CRM, Analytics, and IT teams to prioritize and deliver tools.
  • Apply Agile and structured project management practices as tools to align teams on vision and goals and support execution discipline.
  • Coach teams as needed on effective execution practices and disciplined delivery, without formal authority.
  • Build transparency of Commercial Excellence metrics through dashboards, reports, and structured updates.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years in program management or similar roles.
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience
  • Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • MS Tools, Excel (intermediate to advanced), PowerPoint
  • Proven experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives in global or matrixed organizations.
  • Experience applying Agile or structured delivery methodologies in a business environment.
  • Strong enterprise mindset with ability to connect work across functions.
  • Exceptional organizational and execution skills.
  • Clear, structured communicator able to simplify complexity and drive collaboration.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a bias toward action.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to sales enablement, analytics, digital tools, or commercial processes preferred.
  • Advanced Degree
