Hourly Pay Range:

$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Summary:
The Program Manager, Communications is a key strategic communications role focused on a high-priority, enterprise-wide initiative. This position leads the development and execution of integrated communications efforts that engage stakeholders, support change management, and ensure alignment across clinical, operational, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and skilled tactician, experienced in leveraging digital and team member channels and building relationships to reach busy clinicians and team members where they are. In addition, help translate complex operational and clinical directives into easily digestible formats and delivering compelling, consistent messaging throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will do:

Strategic Communications and Engagement

  • Develop and implement integrated communications strategies leveraging multiple digital platforms and local or department communication structures and tools that drive project-specific goals and align with overall strategic objectives.
  • Anticipate and proactively address potential challenges, risks and opportunities - providing strategic counsel to Endeavor Health leaders and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate open and transparent communication channels to foster trust and collaboration
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure cohesive messaging and enterprise-wide alignment
  • Support communications change management and large-scale transformation

Project Management

  • Lead and manage complex communications from inception to completion, ensuring on time delivery to the highest quality standards
  • Develop detailed execution plans, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with teams to develop content toolkits, FAQs, leader talking points, training previews, and intranet content.
  • Support governance processes for message intake, review, approvals, and sequencing

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Employ a journalistic approach to content creation, leading with curiosity and conducting thorough research – leveraging subject matter experts, industry knowledge and technology to craft accurate and informative narratives
  • Translate complex, technical, or clinical concepts into compelling and accessible communications, as well as user-friendly content tailored specifically for physicians, APPs, and Nursing.
  • Develop engaging, multi-faceted content for deployment across a variety of communications channels
  • Bridge the gap between leadership and frontline staff by crafting executive-ready summaries while simultaneously producing actionable, plain-language content formatted with clear headlines and scannable summaries.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and guide junior team members or matrixed contributors as needed.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, support and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with communications leadership to align messaging, voice, and brand.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Communications, Comms Studies, Speech, Public Relations, or Journalism is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, project communications, or corporate communications.
  • Experience leading communications for large-scale operational or transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Experience working in healthcare or similarly complex, regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of strategic communications principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with change management, stakeholder engagement, and project communications frameworks.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, enterprise transformation, or technology implementations is a plus.
  • Skills
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and comfortable working with all levels of leadership.
  • Expertise in simplifying complex information for broad audiences.
  • Abilities
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and engaging messaging.
  • Ability to manage and create content for a variety of digital platforms (intranet/ServiceNow, email marketing tools, mobile apps, digital signage).
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, remain flexible in dynamic environments, and influence without authority.
  • Ability to build influence and credibility across senior stakeholders and functional silos.
  • Ability to connect the dots across initiatives and proactively identify communication gaps or conflicts.
