Responsibilities:
Champion strategic initiatives in building best in class project/program management platform. Oversee the Managed Investment Data (MID) strategic program, ensuring the alignment with the organization's strategy and goals. Oversee multiple projects concurrently from planning, execution until completion, working with technology team and various functional teams to ensure that project goals are met. Partner with global MID leaders to determine priority and project resource requirements to deliver business results to exceed expectations. Communicate effectively to enable transparency and consistency in project or program implementation, providing regular updates and insights. Identify, monitor, and mitigate program & project risks and assess impact to the overall program. Coach and develop other project specialists in the organization. Challenge current project management approaches, bringing in best practices to establish a best-in-class platform capability in the project management domain. Actively promote project management best practices, advocating for continuous growth in project management competency across the data team. ** Remote work requests will be considered consistent with company's remote work policy. This is a non-managerial role. ** Domestic and international travel less than 5%.
Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience in the Data Research Analyst, Data Project Specialist, Project Specialist, Project Manager, Program Manager, or a related position. This position also requires: 5 years of experience with complex project and/or program management in financial industry; experience with planning, execution, and closure of the project/program; experience in traditional and Agile project management methodologies and workflow; experience with Lean Six Sigma; experience in leading organizational transformation initiatives; experience with building effective partnership with cross-functional, cross-geographical stakeholders to reach high quality decisions on relative subjects; and experience with business reporting and presentations. ** Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
Must possess unrestricted right to work in the U.S. in this position. This position is based in the Chicago office.
Compensation Range: $128,492 - 141,360 per year
