Job Title:

Program Manager –

Role Overview

The Engagement Lead / Technical Program Manager (TPM) is accountable for the successful orchestration of client transformation engagement across multiple workstreams and scenarios.

This role owns program governance, execution discipline, cross-pod coordination, financial management, and stakeholder alignment. While the Account Technical Lead owns architectural integrity, the Engagement Lead ensures delivery integrity.

The TPM operates at the intersection of product, engineering, architecture, compliance, and executive leadership — driving clarity, momentum, and accountability across a complex, phased program

Core Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End Program Leadership
  • Lead the integrated transformation program across:
  • Portal migration and modernization
  • CRM selection and implementation
  • Data & insights capability development
  • Enterprise integration and SaaS enablement
  • Establish and maintain the integrated master roadmap.
  • Sequence initiatives across Stabilize → Modernize → Optimize phases.
  • Identify and proactively manage cross-domain dependencies.
  1. Governance & Executive Alignment
  • Design and operate the client governance model.
  • Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and decision forums.
  • Maintain transparent program reporting (status, risks, financials, dependencies).
  • Ensure decisions are documented and tied to business outcomes.
  • Escalate risks early with clear mitigation paths.
  1. Delivery Management Across Agile Pods
  • Oversee multiple agile product pods (Portal, CRM, Data, Integration).
  • Ensure backlog alignment to strategic outcomes and quarterly priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-pod release planning.
  • Monitor sprint health, velocity, and delivery predictability.
  • Balance agility with enterprise-level discipline.
  1. Financial & Commercial Oversight
  • Own program financial tracking (budget vs. actuals).
  • Forecast capacity needs and resource allocation.
  • Manage commercial adherence to phased engagement model.
  • Protect margin while preserving client trust and long-term value.
  1. Risk & Compliance Coordination
  • Maintain integrated program risk register.
  • Ensure compliance-related activities (SOC 2 continuity, audit readiness, security reviews) are tracked and sequenced.
  • Align technical execution with governance requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Account Technical Lead on architectural risk impacts.
  1. Stakeholder & Change Enablement
  • Act as primary day-to-day executive liaison for program execution.
  • Maintain alignment across product, IT, compliance, and business leaders.
  • Drive structured change management alongside technical rollout.
  • Ensure adoption, enablement, and transition plans are built into delivery — not deferred.
  1. Capability Transition & Ownership
  • Plan progressive transition of ownership to client teams.
  • Ensure documentation, runbooks, and operational readiness artifacts are delivered.
  • Support evolution toward client’s product-led operating model.
  • Reduce long-term dependency while maintaining partnership continuity.

Required Experience

Program Leadership Profile

  • 12–15+ years in program leadership, technical program management, or large-scale transformation roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-workstream enterprise programs.
  • Experience operating in regulated or trust-sensitive industries (financial services, fintech, wealth management, philanthropy, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage both technical and business stakeholders.

Delivery & Technical Fluency

The ideal candidate must be technically literate (though not necessarily hands-on):

  • Cloud-native environments (Azure and/or AWS).
  • API-first and integration-heavy ecosystems.
  • CRM implementations (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Data platform modernization initiatives.
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.
  • Experience working alongside enterprise architects and engineering leads.

Leadership Characteristics

  • Executive presence and calm under ambiguity.
  • Structured communicator with high documentation discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Decisive, yet collaborative.
  • Able to manage tension between speed, cost, and risk.
  • Transparent, low-ego, partnership-oriented.

What Success Looks Like (12–24 Months)

  • Program delivered in phased increments without major architectural or compliance rework.
  • Strong executive confidence in roadmap clarity and risk management.
  • Predictable release cadence across portal, CRM, and data initiatives.
  • Clear financial transparency and margin control.
  • Documented governance rhythm embedded inside client.
  • Progressive ownership transition to client teams.
