I have an exciting new opportunity that I wanted to share with you and your network. Our client, is currently seeking a Professional to join their organization. I have included a complete job description below in case you or someone you know might be interested in learning more.

Job Title: Project Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 1+ year

Primary Skills: Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server (2007-2010)  

Required skills:

 2-3+ years’ experience in Project or Program Office Coordination 

• Familiarity with the entire Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

• 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server (2007-2010), including time sheet functionality

• Familiarity with Visio and Visual Studio

• Strong analytical problem solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment

• Immediate authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: 

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree, especially in a technical discipline

• Advanced MS PowerPoint and MS Project skills

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience with IT project implementations

• PMI affiliation
