Project Coordinator
The Will Group
Hybrid – Shorewood, IL

TWG Engineering is looking for a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects that impact communities and essential systems.

As part of The Will Group, we bring nearly four decades of experience serving the construction and utility industries. Our approach is grounded in collaboration, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering meaningful, results-driven solutions for our clients.

In this role, you will work alongside Project Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to help keep projects organized, on track, and moving forward. You will play a central role in coordinating activities, managing project data, and ensuring communication flows effectively between teams and stakeholders.

This role will sit out of either our Shorewood, IL or Wheaton, IL office and follows a hybrid schedule.

What you will do

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables across multiple projects
  • Support project planning, execution, and tracking to ensure alignment with scope and timelines
  • Maintain organized documentation and accurate project data
  • Generate reports and monitor project performance, identifying risks or delays
  • Facilitate communication between engineering teams, operations, and clients
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

What you bring

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, construction, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Experience with project tracking systems or ERP tools is a plus
  • Exposure to engineering or construction environments is preferred

What to expect

Good Faith Salary Range: The annual starting salary for this position is between $65,000 to $75,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
