Job Description

What You'll Do 

The Project Executive serves as a senior leader and part-owner within the organization, providing strategic oversight and hands-on leadership across multiple projects. This role does not include direct reports, but instead focuses on visiting job sites to identify and resolve performance issues related to safety, productivity, and quality. The Project Executive plays a key role in aligning field operations with company goals, ensuring projects meet high standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

 

  • Serve as a senior leader and representative of company ownership across active job sites
  • Identify and address field-level challenges related to safety, productivity, and quality
  • Provide strategic input on project planning and operational execution, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to improve performance and remove barriers to success
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics and ensure accountability to project goals
  • Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to build trust and address emerging concerns
  • Review project documentation and assess progress in the field
  • Support budgeting decisions and project spending approvals at the executive level
  • Partner with senior leadership on broader business strategy and continuous improvement efforts
  • Travel regularly to job sites to provide real-time assessment, coaching, and executive support

Qualifications

What You'll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Project Management, or Engineering) preferred
  • PMP certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project or field operations, including leadership roles
  • Strong background in field execution, including safety, quality control, and productivity oversight
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority
  • Proven success in a client-facing and ownership-level capacity

 

Additional Information

Pay Range 

$150,000 - $200,000
