Job Title: Project Lead - Data and Analytics 

We are seeking a results-driven Project Lead Consultant to lead client-facing Data and AI initiatives from discovery through delivery. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong project leadership, business analysis, and stakeholder management skills with a solid understanding of modern data platforms and reporting solutions. The Project Lead will partner with clients and cross-functional teams to define requirements, guide solution design, manage scope and timelines, and ensure high-quality outcomes that enable better business decisions. Success in this role requires strong communication, consulting presence, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable analytics solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Project Leadership: Lead data and analytics projects from initiation through delivery, managing scope, timelines, resources, budget, and risks to ensure successful outcomes. 
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction, coaching, and support to cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. 
  • Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships by understanding business goals, facilitating discussions, and providing strategic guidance on data and analytics solutions. 
  • Business Analysis: Elicit, assess, and clarify business needs through stakeholder interviews, process review, and analysis to define project objectives and solution requirements. 
  • Solution Translation: Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications that guide solution design and development. 
  • Solution Oversight: Oversee solution design and delivery to ensure technical approaches align with business objectives, quality standards, and user expectations. 
  • Data Integration: Coordinate the integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for reporting and analysis. 
  • Dashboard and Report Development: Guide the development of dashboards and reports that are intuitive, visually effective, and aligned with client reporting needs. 
  • Training and Support: Facilitate knowledge transfer, user enablement, and ongoing support to help clients adopt and effectively use delivered solutions. 
  • Quality Assurance: Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and quality, and address issues to ensure solutions meet project and client standards. 
  • Industry Awareness: Stay current on data, analytics, and Microsoft ecosystem trends to inform project delivery, innovation, and strategic recommendations. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, with specific experience managing projects using the Microsoft Data stack, including Power BI. 
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading projects to completion. 
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. 
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing project teams. 
  • Experience in understanding and translating business requirements into actionable project plans. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis, database queries (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.  
  • Strong understanding of business processes, project management, and IT methodologies, including Agile.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. 
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.  

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or CSM are preferred. 
  • Microsoft or data analytics certifications, particularly in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or related technologies, are highly desired. 
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing analytics delivery environments is preferred.
