Huron is seeking a seasoned Front Office Project Manager and Scrum Master with deep Murex and Risk Technology expertise to lead complex, front‑to‑back technology initiatives within a global investment banking environment. This role requires a strong blend of program governance, Agile delivery leadership, and front‑office domain knowledge across multiple asset classes, including FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, and OTC Derivatives. The successful candidate will partner closely with Trading, Sales, Quantitative Research, Risk, and Technology teams to deliver regulatory, operational, and strategic outcomes.

Your Role: Hybrid PM/BA/Scrum Master - Murex & Risk Technology

This role requires a sophisticated blend of project governance, Agile delivery leadership, and deep domain expertise across multi‑asset classes (FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, and OTC Derivatives). You will ensure seamless alignment between front‑office trading desks, quantitative research, and risk management to meet regulatory, operational, and strategic objectives within a global investment banking environment. While the scope of each project may be different, your duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Drive end‑to‑end delivery of high‑profile front‑office programs, acting as the primary liaison between Traders, Sales, Quants, Risk Managers, and Technology teams.

  • Manage cross‑asset technology roadmaps, ensuring complex trading workflows for OTC products and derivatives are optimized and compliant.

  • Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, translating high‑level business vision into actionable project milestones.

  • Lead core Scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos) to maintain high‑velocity delivery.

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Jira/Confluence, balancing front‑office immediate needs with long‑term architectural stability.

  • Implement Agile best practices while maintaining rigorous alignment with PMO governance standards, including RAID logs, milestone tracking, and audit‑ready documentation.

  • Oversee the execution of Murex‑specific initiatives, focusing on FO trading modules, market data integration, pricing engines, and trade capture flows.

  • Drive the delivery of advanced risk capabilities, including Market Risk (VaR, Greeks, Sensitivities, Stress Testing) and Credit Risk (PFE, CVA, Counterparty Exposure).

  • Coordinate the configuration of complex data dependencies, such as yield curves, volatility surfaces, and risk factor setups in collaboration with Murex configuration teams.

  • Translate complex requirements into detailed functional specifications for booking, validation, and workflow routing.

  • Ensure seamless FO–MO–BO (Front‑to‑Back) handoffs and robust integration with downstream P&L, collateral management, and regulatory reporting platforms.

  • Manage pre‑trade risk check implementations and real‑time risk engine updates.

  • Lead comprehensive cross‑functional testing cycles, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing for Murex streams and risk engines.

  • Oversee production release management, including deployment readiness, issue triage, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

  • Ensure all integration layers are validated, stable, and production‑ready to support 24/5 global trading.

The Profile We're Looking For: Murex-Focused Front Office Project Manager

  • 12+ years of technology project delivery within a Foreign Investment Bank or similar Tier‑1 financial institution.

  • Proven track record of managing multi‑stream programs, demonstrating high‑level accountability.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

  • Expert‑level proficiency with Agile toolsets (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

  • Deep knowledge of Derivatives, OTC, FX, Rates, Credit, and Equities.

  • Hands‑on experience with Murex (FO modules, Datamart, or Simulation).

  • Solid understanding of regulatory‑driven risk enhancements and Basel III/IV frameworks.

  • Ability to engage with developers and quants on technical design, data mapping, and API integrations.

  • Ability to balance the flexibility of Agile with the structured reporting required by traditional PMO governance.

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with high‑pressure trading desks and senior executives.

  • Strong skills for root cause resolution during complex Murex deployments and incident management.

  • Ability to ensure all technology solutions are scalable and align with the bank's long‑term strategic architecture.
