Project Manager

Full-Time · Remote (EST or CST)

The Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of research studies from kickoff to close. This is a role for someone who’s organized, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts at once. You’ll work closely with our clients and internal teams to make sure every project lands on time, within budget, and at the quality level our clients expect.

If you’ve got a knack for keeping things on track, communicating clearly under pressure, and solving problems before they become issues, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

Plan & Scope

  • Define project scope in collaboration with the Project Director and create detailed work plans that sequence activities from start to finish.
  • Determine the time, budget, and resources needed and build a realistic schedule that keeps everything on track.
  • Set the objectives and success measures for each project upfront so the whole team is aligned.

Staff & Brief

  • Work with the Recruiting Operations Manager to assign the right staff to each study.
  • Make sure everyone on the project is fully briefed and set up to do their best work.

Execute & Communicate

  • Drive execution of the project plan, keeping documentation current and files organized throughout.
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed to keep deliverables on track.
  • Maintain a clear communication cadence with clients and internal stakeholders so no one is ever in the dark.

Control & Close

  • Draft project reports for Project Directors and clients, and manage all budget and financial documentation per established accounting procedures.
  • Monitor cash flow and report variances to senior management on a study-by-study basis.
  • Evaluate project outcomes at close, making sure deliverables hit the mark on time, on budget, and at the right quality level.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 2–3 years of experience in office, process, or project management.
  • Strong organizational skills — you’re the person who notices what’s slipping before anyone else does.
  • Clear, confident communicator with clients and internal teams alike.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and comfortable with cloud-based file systems.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and basic financial documentation.
  • Curious about new tools and technology, including AI.

Nice to Have

  • 1+ year of project or client management experience working directly with corporate clients on the successful execution of complex research studies.
  • Market research industry experience.
  • A four-year degree in a related field (preferred but not required).

This job summary outlines primary responsibilities but is not intended to be all-inclusive. Duties may be modified or expanded to reflect business needs and the natural progression of the role.
