Intro

Ten Speed is a US-based organic growth agency that helps B2B marketers unify SEO, content marketing, LLM visibility, and digital PR into a growth engine that delivers results you can prove.

The project manager role is a full-time remote role open to candidates in IL, MI, MN, NC, FL, TX, CO, ID or RI. Salary range: $64,000 - $72,000, plus strong benefits including 20 PTO days, wellness stipends, 401k match, and a professional development budget. Eligible for individual and team bonuses.

If you live for organization, see around corners, and love streamlining processes — this is the role for you.

As a project manager, you will…

Be the operational backbone for our client engagements, ensuring work moves smoothly from kickoff to completion. Partnering closely with Strategists (who own strategy and client comms) and the Organic Growth Studio, you’ll coordinate people, priorities, and deadlines across multiple projects. You’ll manage onboarding, track deliverables, flag risks, and keep everything (and everyone) on track, freeing up your teammates to play to their strengths.

This role is ideal for someone hands-on, systems-savvy, and energized by fast-paced, highly cross-functional work. You’ll need to demonstrate process thinking, a knack for resource management, and a love for agency life.

Location, Salary & Benefits
  • Location: Remote (USA only — must reside in IL, MI, MN, NC, FL, TX, CO, ID or RI)
  • Salary Range: $64,000 - $72,000 USD, depending on experience
  • Work Schedule: Flexible, with at least 4 hours overlapping Central Time
  • PTO: 20 vacation days + 7 personal/sick days + 9 holidays + 1 volunteer day
  • Health Benefits: 100% covered medical, dental, and vision for employee
  • Perks:
    • $500 one-time home office stipend
    • 401k matching
    • Wellhub membership
    • $1,000/year professional development budget
    • Summer Half-Fridays
    • 2-week sabbatical after 4 years
    • Bonus opportunities

What You’ll Do

  • Own End-to-End Project Management: Serve as the primary project manager for client engagements, overseeing timelines, approvals, deliverable assignments, and keeping work moving forward.
  • Project Coordination & Execution: Manage project onboarding, coordinate workflows, handle ad-hoc requests, and ensure production teams are clear on priorities and deadlines.
  • Process Management & Continuous Improvement: Maintain, document, and improve project management processes and templates together with the Director of Operations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Provide proactive support to strategists and other stakeholders by assisting with scheduling ad hoc meetings, obtaining and sharing needed client documentation, and being available to internal teams for scheduling and timeline management support.
  • Resource, Utilization Planning & Status Reporting: Monitor workloads, plan and track team utilization across accounts, flag resource constraints, and deliver progress/status updates to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Project Ownership & Influence: Take full ownership of your projects’ success, driving accountability, anticipating challenges, and influencing execution across teams to achieve results.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a digital marketing, creative, or agency setting.
  • Experience with ClickUp (or similar PM tool), Slack, and Google Drive/G-Suite.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, resource management, and typical agency workflows.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you’re comfortable nudging for approvals with tact.
  • Comfort working asynchronously and collaborating across time zones in a cross-functional environment.
  • A process- and detail-oriented mindset aiming for continuous clarity, documentation, and improvement.
  • Experience working with AI tools

Bonus Points For

  • Solid track record in SaaS or B2B marketing project environments.
  • You have familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
  • You understand the basics of SEO, AEO, and other organic marketing channels like organic social and digital PR.
  • Experience iterating on agency PM processes, onboarding resources, or launching new service workflows.
