Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT initiatives within a Quality-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a separation project from initiation through implementation, ensuring successful delivery while operating in a fast-paced, low-structure environment. This role requires a highly independent leader with strong SDLC knowledge, Waterfall project management expertise, and proven IT delivery experience.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Drive planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and project closure activities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Coordinate project resources, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, quality teams, and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee updates, and executive reporting.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively communicate project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to established SDLC processes and project governance standards.
- Lead requirements gathering, solution planning, design reviews, testing coordination, deployment planning, and post-implementation support.
- Apply Waterfall methodology effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and develop resolution strategies.
- Monitor project health and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Support initiatives within the Quality function and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Establish quality metrics and monitor project performance against defined objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned activities.
- Support organizational changes associated with project implementation.
- Facilitate communication and readiness activities to ensure smooth transitions.
- Coordinate training and knowledge transfer activities where required.
Required Skills & Experience

- Strong understanding of SDLC
- Strong understanding of Waterfall methodology
