The Sales Strategy & Operations (SS&O) team guides and deploys critical business decisions across the advertising sales organization through strategy, analytics and operations. Team members are experts in business strategy and operations and analytical and strategic thinking. They are pragmatic and results-oriented. As a Project & Program Manager on the Resourcing team, you will partner with a key vendor to manage a program aimed at enhancing sales coverage support for our global Enterprise sales teams. As the primary point of contact for the vendor and representing the Enterprise sales business, you will actively participate in Business Reviews (e.g. QBRs), providing strategic insights, and presenting on program progress to sales leadership, including the CRO. Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless operational execution and enhancing program effectiveness by monitoring and analyzing success metrics and implementing targeted improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure the vendor meets specific program objectives and delivers clear, measurable improvements.


What you’ll do:

  • Own the global sales coverage support program by managing the vendor relationship, acting as the primary point of contact, and delivering regular program status updates to sales leadership. Engage with sales managers to gather feedback, understand program effectiveness from a seller standpoint, and use feedback to identify program improvement areas.
  • Be a strategic thinker by proactively identifying opportunities to make program improvement, regularly collaborating with the vendor management team, sales teams, and IT to execute these initiatives effectively, and standardize program processes and performance globally.
  • Design and develop initiatives that align with the priorities and goals of Pinterest sales leaders by defining key milestones and assessing potential trade-offs.
  • Utilize program success metrics and data analytics to glean insights and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with vendor counterparts to ensure strategic alignment and accountability in delivering improvement workstreams.
  • Collaborate with Pinterest sales leaders and cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, IT) to ensure the program's alignment with organizational objectives. Drive progress on transformative improvement initiatives.
  • Spearhead the exploration and potential global expansion of the program, strategizing its growth and evolution.
  • Actively participate in regular business review meetings (WBR/MBRs/QBRs), offering valuable feedback and insights to drive program success.


What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in highly analytical environments such as management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or technology/media companies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs with multiple sub-workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. 
  • Vendor management experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex program data to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring comprehensive management of all program aspects.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to drive program success.
  • Skilled in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing scaled solutions to effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience thriving in complex, fast-paced environments, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration or equivalent experience.
