Turn Project Opportunities Into Winning Proposals

TWG Infrastructure is seeking a Project Quotations Manager to lead the development of accurate, competitive, and timely project quotations for transportation, utility, municipal, lighting, and infrastructure projects throughout Illinois and the Midwest.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in estimating, quotations, bid management, project coordination, construction, engineering support, or infrastructure sales. You will serve as the bridge between customers, manufacturers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure proposals align with project specifications, customer requirements, and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Quotation & Bid Management

  • Manage project quotations from opportunity identification through proposal submission

  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements

  • Develop complete and accurate project quotations

  • Coordinate factory pricing requests and special pricing approvals

  • Ensure proposals meet customer specifications and manufacturer requirements

  • Maintain quote documentation, project records, and revision history

Technical Review & Solution Development

  • Analyze plans, specifications, and drawings

  • Verify product selections, bill of materials, and lead times

  • Collaborate with manufacturers and technical resources to develop compliant solutions

  • Recommend value-engineered alternatives when appropriate

  • Identify specification conflicts, risks, and scope gaps

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Support, and Manufacturing Partners

  • Coordinate technical support and pricing activities

  • Manage multiple quotation opportunities simultaneously

  • Support the successful transition of awarded projects to execution teams

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of related experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Experience in estimating, quotations, bid management, project coordination, or sales support

  • Ability to interpret project plans and specifications

  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM systems

  • Infrastructure, utility, lighting, or construction industry experience

Why TWG Infrastructure?

Good Faith Salary Range: The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000 to $95,000 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
