Associate Sales Project Manager
The Role
The major responsibility of the Associate Sales Project Manager is to synchronize Fusion's efforts in responding to prospect and customer Request for Proposals (RFPs). The Associate Sales Project Manager will draft, review and execute RFP responses. The Associate Sales Project Manager will work with a team of contributors from the sales, solutions engineering, delivery, product management, security, legal and finance departments to coordinate cross-functional responses to these RFPs.
- Work with defined cross-functional groups to review RFPs, understand customer needs and develop strategy for the proposal response
- Meet RFP deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meeting; transmitting proposals
- Work effectively with internal subject matter experts to develop consistent compelling responses to satisfy proposal requirements
- Review functional, technical and company information received from internal subject matter experts and develop consistent compelling responses for replication to similar RFPs
- Serve as system administrator for RFP automation software
- Coordinate final production and delivery of complete RFP response
- Ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously
- Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases
- Improve the proposal-writing processes by providing and implementing innovative ideas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of RFP responses
- Curate the RFP response database to create a company knowledge base for responding to formal RFPs as well as answering ad hoc inquiries from prospects and customers
- Perform other sales enablement activities as needed, including training the sales teams on how to leverage the RFP answer tools, assisting with developing sales tools(including but not limited to, slide decks, proposals,ROIreports, etc.), and delivering targeted content for specific opportunities.

- Must be technologically savvy in order to navigate and organize electronic submissions and online bids
- Creativity and initiative. Ability to identify problems and/or inefficiencies and independently offer/implement practical solutions
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Experience in drafting and/or contributing to proposals (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) responses preferred
- Experience working in the product marketing, marketing or sales department of a Business-to-Business software or technology company preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Office)
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English or related discipline or a business administration degree with a marketing or product management concentration preferred
- Prefer prior experience in business continuity, disaster recovery or risk management industry
