Job Summary

Responsible for serving as a results-oriented, subject matter expert to the leadership of a plan or business unit to help ensure achievement of the company’s strategies. Works with leadership to provide business transformation services to achieve long and short term goals. Works to provide business analysis and recommendations that helps the business achieve operational effectiveness and efficiency on transformation initiatives. Supports cross-functional strategic initiatives and provides subject matter expertise and industry best practices related to business transformation, including but not limited to Strategy, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or other business outcomes. Facilitates the designs and assessment of work efforts to ensure alignment to business and customer goals. Processes and synthesizes work outputs across multiple work streams/teams into executive updates, design/prioritization frameworks and business recommendations.

Job Responsibilities

•Provides advanced expertise and functional knowledge to the leadership of a plan or business unit helping to ensure achievement of the company’s strategies.

•Facilitates end to end approach for development of key change programs in partnership with senior business leaders. Executes key hypothesis, conducts interviews, gathers data, defines and implements required analyses, identifies issues and problems and recommends approach to address them.

•Participates in cross-functional change programs and provides subject matter expertise and industry best practices related to business transformation, engagement model, and functional area.

•Participates in multi-disciplinary project teams who are engaged on key company changes programs. Synthesizes project team work to provide recommendations to the business.

•Provides critical thinking and guide by helping to link the company’s strategic agenda to the resulting execution plan for functional area. Provides guidance and counsel in development of long term and short term plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, work plans, timelines, and business outcomes.

•Develops business design and solution requirements and subsequently helps with their prioritization by working with business partners and development teams.

•Develops executive level presentations to communicate business/program updates, risks, opportunities, etc. Develops and maintains documentation for cross-functional, enterprise efforts.

•Partners cross-functionally and ensures seamless service delivery and hand-offs from strategy formulation to execution.

•Resolves conflicts and affects key stakeholders, including support to One Plan leadership in influencing executive management.

•Contributes to or guides the development of project work plans by estimating work effort for requirements analysis activity and reporting clear and accurate work status.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following functions: strategy, project management, or process improvement OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following functions: strategy, project management, or process improvement.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a matrix structure and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, designing, resolving, and documenting complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • Experience presenting and reporting on project plans and cost benefit analyses to appropriate stakeholders, executives and senior management.
  • At least 1 years experience of direct leadership and/or cross functional team leadership
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/Master’s Degree
  • Experience in management consulting industry.
  • Experience driving resolution of project conflicts within a team.
  • Knowledge of project management financials.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience persuading or convincing others to support an idea, agenda, or direction.
  • Experience in effectively managing change.
  • Experience with critical thinking to identify creative solutions.
