Project Administrator
Summary
The Project Administrator will provide general project management, organizational, and administrative support to the project team. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, creative, and can multi-task. This individual must have the ability to work independently and also as a productive and engaged team member in a dynamic environment. Strong initiative and follow-through are essential for this job. This role will be the conduit between multiple project managers while providing administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain project schedules, files, and databases
- Process all change orders, RFI's, and submittals
- Coordinate outgoing formal issuances
- Familiar with document drafting, distribution, and change management
- Produce reports or other project-related materials for the project manager(s)
- Maintain the team calendar and advise the project team of upcoming deadlines
- Coordinate project meetings and project deliverables
- Transcribe and distribute meeting minutes
- Provide support for the project manager and help to resolve issues
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Institute and curate libraries of reusable document components
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Construction, Business Administration, or Project Management OR equivalent work experience
- Must have 5+ years supporting construction administration including documentation, reporting, and invoicing
- Proficient experience with MS Office (required) and MS Project (preferred)
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to acquire an Airport Badge and U.S. Customs Hologram
