Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain the different product strategies in the decision engine.
- Develop, test, and implement credit and operations strategies in their respective decision engines, using various data sources and operational processing systems.
How You’ll Do It
- Identify, problem solve, and track defects. Partner with business partners to resolve defects identified during testing. Ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners to complete projects.
- Conduct high-level design walk-through sessions; identify inconsistencies and change designs as necessary.
- Analyze requirements documentation and work with business partners to ensure requirements are clear and complete. Conduct structured reviews with business partners on potential errors in requirements or omissions.
- Identify inconsistencies between existing policies and new strategies. Incorporate new requirements into existing designs and processes.
- Ensure design and testing are complete and address all requirements. Ensure the Agile tools are used to update and track the progress of the task.
- Work with IT partners to ensure data availability; identify new and ongoing support to ensure availability of test regions.
- Build and execute unit-test cases.
- Maintain project documentation to facilitate strategy tracking and test/control analysis. Design and implement complex portfolio and new strategies accurately and within deadlines.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, information systems, statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, data analysis, quality assurance, financial services, security, digital, fraud, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in software development, data analysis, quality assurance, financial services, security, digital, fraud, or related field
Bonus Points If You Have
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, math, information systems, statistics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development, data analysis, quality assurance, financial services, security, digital, fraud, or related field
- In depth Technical Knowledge of SAS Fraud Management
- Good understanding of how Rule Engines function
- Has a strong understanding of frameworks within which rules execute
- Strong understanding of the Fraud Detection business domain
- Strong Analytics skills using SAS/Python/SQL
