Highly visible and strategic in nature, the Senior Project Manager will coordinate and manage cross functional resources for process improvement, new product development and strategic projects across the organization. This function is new to the organization; therefore, this individual will be a key contributor in helping define the strategy of the function, process needs and structure, both domestically and internationally. The Senior Project Manager will contribute to the strategic development and implementation of optimal processes to provide company-wide transparency and enable speed to execution while upholding RXBAR’s proven values. This role will be accountable for the end-to-end execution of projects from concept to delivery. Projects will vary in scope and will touch all aspects of the organization, specific project examples include but not are limited to commercialization of innovation product launches, packaging refreshes, display & merchandising initiatives, as well as implementation of process, systems & software. This role will be part of the Supply Chain team, however will interact cross-functionally with all departments within RXBAR.

General Functions & Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for contributing to the strategy, development and implementation of RXBAR’s companywide process and project management discipline
• Build rapport with cross functional partners to work collaboratively, and lead resources (internal and third party) in the execution of cross-functional initiatives including Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Research & Development
• Utilizes strong leadership skills to efficiently and effectively drive results beyond project execution. Direct ownership of project kick-off meetings, regular project status meetings, closeout / lessons learned discussions, as well as development of critical content for leadership
• Proven ability to effectively convey ideas and solutions across all levels of the organization, including senior management, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Develop timelines based on critical path milestones, ensuring alignment and transparency to drive accountability, with the ability to articulate dependencies and slippage impact
• Approach projects and process with a Continuous Improvement perspective; identify opportunities to design, deliver and sustain solutions and develop the change management approach to gain stakeholder engagement
• Define and proactively manage project ensuring feasibility and resources necessary to deliver on time and budget; ensure strategic alignment, manage conflicting priorities and objectives among stakeholders, manage risks through development of mitigation and contingency plans
• Manage project performance using key reporting metrics, escalate constraints and delays to management as needed
• Plan and assist with anticipated staffing requirements; grow and develop teammates, with the potential to manage direct reports

Skills and Qualifications:

• Positive attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and an excitement for growing our business
• Bachelor's Degree in related field required
• 7-10 years’ project manager experience
• Experience in managing and leading diverse, cross functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and manage in a cross-functional environment with the director and executive level of management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong analytical, business process and problem-solving capabilities
• Technical proficiency in project management application; PMI or equivalent certification is a plus
• Understanding of food manufacturing and consumer packaged goods (CPG) is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Quick learner that can internalize and manage new processes
• Excellent presentation skills
