Job Summary
Codal is searching for a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master to implement Agile methodologies and processes into Codal’s cross-functional teams. With veritable experience in both Agile release planning, project delivery, and servant leadership; our ideal candidate will facilitate necessary meetings, mitigate project risks, and coach the design and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning Agile releases and assisting project leads in the management of backlogged tickets
- Coaching Codal’s project teams in estimation techniques, organizational methods, and other Agile practices
- Identifying escalations and potential blocker issues in the project lifecycle
- Baking a philosophy of transparency into Codal’s workflows through the sprint backlog, burndown chart and other Agile metrics
Requirements / Must Haves
- 8+ years of experience in an Agile Scrum Master role.
- Experience working with JIRA or a similar project management software.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum roles and artifacts, as well as the ability to communicate and teach processes effectively to Codal's teams.
- An advanced credential for Scrum or Agile: CSM-A, CSPO-A, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, PSM II, or PSM III.
- Understanding of one scaling framework for Agile either; SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum at Scale.
- Familiarity with budget and project management.
- Servant leadership mindset.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills particularly communication between stakeholders, designers, and developers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Kanban is nice to have.
- Understanding of SOLID principles is also a nice to have.
