Job Description
Responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation. Manages all aspects of the project over its entire life including: the initiation, plan development, execution, controls, and implementation. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs.
Enforces governance of the Payment Services Capabilities Operating Model and works to ensure consistency in all core processes from conceptualization to implementation of a product. Partners closely with PMO, Operations, Product and Technology leaders to administer governance frameworks and standard work throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a liaison between the business and development resources. Manage all aspects of each project. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs.
- Optimizes and standardizes business processes and workflows; and socializes and guides the PMO and our partners on adherence.
- Conducts detailed analysis to proactively identify process improvement opportunities.
- Develops comprehensive and detailed solutions for new process designs and process improvements and formulates plans and supporting materials to implement recommendations.
- Manages strong stakeholder relationships across departments at varying levels.
- Facilitates executive-level, strategically focused discussions, and helps drive decision-making.
- Assembles project teams. Aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources. Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.
- Assist with business requirements analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Ensures change controls are executed appropriately. Estimate work efforts and manage resources accordingly.
- Document agendas, meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and issue logs. Communicate statuses to stakeholders.
- Partners closely with key stakeholders across PMO, Product, Operations, and Technology in order to effectively enforce governance framework that enables improved value delivery to our customers; this includes leading planning activities (delivery forecasts, annual roadmaps, etc.) and driving continuous improvement events.
- Contributes to the creation and improvement of standards across the Payments PMO department in support of Operational Excellence. This includes the Payments PMO Agility Playbook, initiative process flows, controls, and standard work creation.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's degree in Arts, Information Technology or Business
- 6+ years of experience Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience
Bonus Points If You Have
- 8+ years of Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience
- Experience in business process management, business process design and analysis, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, relationship management, presentation, and communication skills
