Job Overview:
As a Psychometric Support/Research Assistant at Cambium Assessment, you will provide support and assistance to our Assessment division which includes Psychometricians & Statisticians that deliver secure, reliable, and scalable assessment solutions. You will assist in generating and producing materials for item review, running data analysis programs, and performing quality assurance checks on analysis outputs. In addition, you will assist in the preparation of technical reports and validity studies, review all field test and operational test forms, and coordination of client schedules and communications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Psychometric Support/Research Assistants support and assist Assessment division Psychometricians and Statisticians
- Generating and producing materials for item review and standard setting meetings
- Running data analysis programs
- Performing quality assurance checks on analysis outputs
- Preparation of technical reports and development
- Assist with validity studies and review of all field test and operational test forms.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral and social sciences, including psychology, economics and sociology.
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Conscientious, high attention to detail and able to take responsibility for ensuring the successful completion of assigned tasks.
- Interest in education.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- R knowledge (a plus)
