About the Role
The ideal candidate will independently manage publication plans and oversee the development of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and scientific presentations while partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, investigators, and external medical writing agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end publication planning and execution.
- Manage manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and conference presentations.
- Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, authors, and investigators.
- Oversee medical writing vendors and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Track publication timelines and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure compliance with ICMJE, GPP, and internal publication policies.
- Support scientific congress submissions and journal publications.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc) in Life Sciences.
- 5–7+ years of medical publications experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong knowledge of ICMJE and Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience leading publication plans and managing scientific communication deliverables.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Cell Therapy experience is preferred.
