Python Developer – Apache Flink
Job Description
Seeking a Python Developer with hands-on experience in Apache Flink to build and support real-time data streaming applications.
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Work Authorization: USC and Green Card Holders Only
Required Skills
5+ years of Python development experience
Hands-on experience with Apache Flink
Experience with Apache Kafka and real-time stream processing
Strong SQL and distributed systems knowledge
Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
Preferred Skills
AWS, Azure, or GCP
Docker and Kubernetes
Apache Spark (Plus)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Hands-on experience with Apache Flink for real-time stream processing.
Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
Solid knowledge of SQL and distributed systems.
Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with Apache Spark is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (US Citizen or Green Card holder).
