Job Description

Seeking a Python Developer with hands-on experience in Apache Flink to build and support real-time data streaming applications.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Work Authorization: USC and Green Card Holders Only

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of Python development experience

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Flink

  • Experience with Apache Kafka and real-time stream processing

  • Strong SQL and distributed systems knowledge

  • Experience with Git and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills

  • AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Docker and Kubernetes

  • Apache Spark (Plus)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Flink for real-time stream processing.

  • Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and distributed systems.

  • Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Experience with Apache Spark is an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (US Citizen or Green Card holder).
