Job SummaryWe are seeking a QA DB Integration Engineer to validate and test data integrations, APIs, database processes, and enterprise application interfaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integration reliability, and end-to-end quality across interconnected business systems.
This role requires strong database testing skills, API validation experience, SQL expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration workflows.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for database and integration testing.
- Validate data flow between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Perform backend testing using SQL queries and database validation techniques.
- Verify data transformations, mappings, and reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Test REST/SOAP APIs and integration services.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies, integration failures, and system defects.
- Participate in system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Create test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Work closely with developers, integration engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Support release validation and post-deployment testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices.
- 3+ years of experience in QA, Database Testing, or Integration Testing.
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, joins, and data validation scripts.
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Good understanding of ETL, data mapping, and system integrations.
- Experience validating large datasets and performing data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, middleware, or integration platforms.
- Exposure to ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, WMS, or Logistics applications.
- Experience with automated API or database testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, and file-based integrations.
