Lead QA strategy for mobile products: design test plans, establish QA processes and metrics, oversee API testing (Postman/Splunk/Swagger), coordinate releases, mentor QA engineers and contractors, and collaborate with developers to improve quality and user experience.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Requirements -
- To lead the quality strategy of mobile products, design test plans, lead QA Engineers, and be responsible for the overall integration accuracy.
- Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using
industry-accepted best practices. - Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying
industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality
goals are met. - Proven experience in API testing, with a strong understanding of RESTful protocol. Proficient in using tools such as Postman/Splunk/Swagger for API validation
- Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services
and coordinating QA resources internally and externally. - Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
- Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
