We are seeking a highly experienced QNXT Product SME to provide strategic and hands-on expertise across the full QNXT platform and its sub-systems. This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management to assess the current-state environment, identify issues and risks, and recommend practical solutions and a path forward.Qualifications
Rate: TBD, W2 Hourly (may be open to FTE for the right candidate)
Duration: 2 - 3 months initially, extensions expected
Start: end of April
Travel: Remote with some travel expected, 25%+

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional and technical Subject Matter Expert for the QNXT platform, including all major modules and sub-systems.
- Lead comprehensive system assessments (current-state review), including architecture, configuration, integrations, workflows, and operational processes; document findings, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews and working sessions; translate business needs into clear requirements, recommendations, and decision points.
- Identify issues, research root causes, and develop solution options with tradeoffs (cost, timeline, risk, operational impact); guide stakeholders toward decisions.
- Provide consulting leadership for QNXT-related initiatives such as upgrades, migrations, enhancements, process optimization, and production stabilization.
- Create and deliver executive-ready communications (readouts, slide content, status updates) tailored to audiences from frontline teams through senior leadership.
- Partner with delivery teams (product owners, analysts, developers, QA, operations, vendors) to ensure solutions align to platform best practices and organizational objectives.
- Support incident/problem management by triaging production issues, validating fixes, and recommending preventative controls.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of hands-on experience with the QNXT platform, demonstrating deep, end-to-end knowledge across the product and its sub-systems.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders and all levels of management, including delivering concise executive summaries and recommendations.
- Strong consulting background (internal consulting, client-facing consulting, or equivalent), with experience conducting thorough system assessments and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated problem-solving expertise: ability to identify issues, perform structured research and root-cause analysis, and propose workable solutions.
- Experience eliciting requirements, documenting current/future state, and producing high-quality deliverables (assessment reports, roadmaps, decision logs, process documentation).
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive alignment across cross-functional groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting payer operations (e.g., claims, eligibility, provider, enrollment, billing) and the end-to-end impacts of configuration and integration decisions.
- Experience partnering with vendors and third-party integration teams; ability to review and challenge solution designs.
- Familiarity with formal delivery methods (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) and governance in complex enterprise environments.
