As a Quality Control Analyst Team Lead in Deal Setup Quality Control, you execute and oversee assigned work while ensuring adherence to service level agreements, policies, and controls. You perform quality control across key deal setup activities and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent rework. You strengthen the team’s performance through sound judgment, careful validation, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Responsibilities
  • Meet service level agreements for quality and volume on a consistent basis
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and control standards to reduce risk and ensure consistent execution
  • Perform quality control reviews of deal setup activities, including approvals, renewals, pricing changes, and fee updates
  • Review and validate client and transaction documentation for completeness, accuracy, and required approvals
  • Confirm data and terms across documentation, credit, and loan processing systems to ensure alignment
  • Coordinate deal closing tasks and related financial activities within required timelines
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (such as business and legal teams) to resolve issues, confirm requirements, and prevent rework
  • Request and track missing documents, notifications, and confirmations from agents or clients, following up promptly
  • Complete same-day funding tasks within required timelines, ensuring accurate system updates and complete records
  • Serve as a primary contact for process questions, providing guidance and sharing best practices with the team
  • Escalate process issues promptly and identify recurring defects, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of experience in financial services operations, including exposure to lending or loan processing
  • Understanding of loan documentation and lending concepts
  • Ability to interpret business financial statements and validate key information accurately
  • Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills across multiple sources and systems
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and inconsistencies
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work independently and remain accountable
  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and partner across teams to drive timely resolution of issues
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 
  • Experience serving as a process subject matter resource and leading issue resolution in a controlled operations environment
  • Experience producing or interpreting control reporting and using results to reduce defects and improve performance
  • Experience supporting deal setup activities such as renewals, pricing changes, or fee maintenance
  • Familiarity working across multiple lending products or business lines
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement experience (for example, standard work, rework reduction, or cycle time improvement)
