Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. 

QUALITY ENGINEER I or II

LEVEL I:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $62,000.00(minimum) - $81,000.00(midpoint) - $99,000.00(maximum)

LEVEL II

  • Estimated annual base pay: $75,000.00(minimum) - $97,000.00(midpoint) - $120,000.00(maximum)

LEVEL I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform routine inspections of products and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Document Inspection Results: Accurately record and maintain detailed reports of quality assessments and findings.
  • Assist in Quality Improvement: Support senior quality engineers in implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze Standard Issues: Utilize existing procedures to evaluate quality data and identify recurring problems.
  • Maintain Quality Procedures: Follow standardized quality control procedures to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines.

Key Skills:

  • Quality Assurance Procedures: Knowledgeable in executing standard quality assurance protocols to maintain product standards.
  • Data Collection: Skilled in gathering relevant data for quality assessment and reporting purposes.
  • Technical Documentation: Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed quality documentation and records.

LEVEL II

  • Problem Analysis: Identifies and resolves quality related issues by analyzing data and applying technical expertise and judgment.
  • Team Mentorship: Provides informal guidance and support to new team members to enhance their understanding of quality protocols and practices.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborates with engineering, production, and other departments to improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Quality Reporting: Documents and communicates quality metrics, findings, and improvement recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Successful Candidates Typically Have:

LEVEL I:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Operations
  • 1-3 years’ experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, or operations

LEVEL II

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Operations, or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Aerospace Quality or regulated manufacturing, technology, operations related field
