We are seeking candidates to explore a range of topics, including software design, geometry processing, physics-based simulation, textile modeling, rendering, visualization, and interactive methods. You will work alongside our research team as we create innovative solutions for the future of fashion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research to advance our R&D capabilities in garment simulation, computer graphics, HCI, geometric modeling, interactive systems, material modeling, and 2D/3D CAD.
- Collaborate closely with developers, UX designers, and 3D apparel specialists to translate research insights into practical product improvements.
- Support the research process by assisting with literature reviews, prototype development, and technical writing.
Requirements
- Pursuing an MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong C++ programming skills and knowledge of fundamental algorithms.
- Genuine passion for graphics, simulation, software design, and research.
- Skilled in presenting ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Full availability for the duration of a 12-14 week assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong math skills, particularly in linear algebra and optimization.
- Knowledge of graphics APIs (OpenGL) and GPU technologies (CUDA, OpenCL, Metal).
- Positive outlook combined with a self-driven, proactive attitude.
- Experience with 3D animation tools such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, or Marvelous Designer.
